CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Red, White, and BOOM will happen again. The city said it's all because a new sponsor is making it possible.

Cape Coral's Chamber of Commerce made the official announcement Thursday.

The event was put on hold after it's main sponsor, Saturn, was phased out by General Motors.

Today is 4/7/2009 and I thought I would write a small blog about where the people we have been selling homes to have been coming from for the last few months.

What do they say?? It's all about timing. SW Florida's Real Estate market is booming once again. Leading the way is Cape Coral. Property is flying off the shelves here.

Since April 1st of 2009 we have had 268 single family homes go under contract and 61 sold single family homes. Thats 6 days of activity.

Many of these propertys have had multiple offers placed on them with many being sold for above the listed price.

There are many options when it comes to foreclosures in our area. There are single family homes in Cape Coral that are priced as low as the $50,000 range and on the high end can go upwards of a million dollars. There are also homes in Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres that can be bought for as low as in the $30,000 - $40,000 range. There are also many multi family duplex properties for sale in the same area, I have saw these priced in the $50,000 range also.
